Combo Jack not working

I just bought sennheiser momentum m2 on ears and it has a built in microphone in the remote and my laptop has a combo jack which has a Headphone and Mic logo and when I use my headphones it doesnt appear too be showing up in the Recording devices. I have the Lenovo Yoga 3 14, was wondering if anyone has any experience on this issue ?
