Red asus strix

So I decided to paint my strix red with protect dip which is kinda tge same as plasti dip, it's kinda crap and took well over 10 coats just to get a solid red colour. So I really didn't want to take the whole cooler off to void the warranty to I managed to just get the shroud off then rake tge fans out, I masked ut off, cleaned it up and started painting.

After a good 3 hours of painting I let it dry for the night and did another 2-3 coats the next day, I let it dry all day then started to assemble it.

After all that assembly which took me about 3 hours (probably would have been 1 hour if I would have taken the whole cooler off)

I put it in the system

So there it is, kinda look like a matrix platinum but without the black heat pipes and led logo.

All in all it costed me 26$ cad and about 6-7 hours of my time

To be honest I don't know if it was worth that much effort, it looks good but I don't know if I'd do it again, and if I did I would definetly do it diferant

Ps. Sorry for no spoilers I'm on mobile and it's already a pain to include pictures, I'll go on my desktop after and maybe change it if I have the time

Also painted the pcie slot covers and two thumb screws on the ssd mounts red with normal spray paint a couple weeks ago

Looks nice, the next thing you could do is paint or Plasti-Dip the top plate of the Hyper 212 EVO. It will top off the system and won't affect performance.
