Running Two Monitors

Go to solution Solved by RedSphyxis,

I tried that, it works completely fine when it's just by itself without the displayport monitor but for some reason when they're together it cant find signal.

did you check if the monitor automatically detects the signal as digital?

some monitors need to be manually shifted from analog to digital

so connect the monitor and try to figure out how to change the signal if it's not already in digital.

Hello,

Until today I was using only one monitor through displayport (Gtx 780 Ti --> Asus PG278Q Swift), but I found some old HDMI monitor in my house and thought i'd set it up for two monitors. It only works on HDMI so I plugged it into the 780 Ti's HDMI port but whenever I try to detect it Windows cant find the second monitor. What should I do?

Thanks,

plug in the power adapter And/or check all other cables.

If thats not the problem the monitor is probably dead.

I know this may sound silly, but have you made sure that the monitor works using another computer/gaming console?
