MSI RMA Experience?

mmac138

Hello,
I recently purchased MSI Z97A-Gaming 6 motherboard and it came with a bent pin.

I have contacted MSI about an RMA and currently waiting for a reply.
Was just wondering anyone has had any experience with RMA for bent pins with MSI?
I heard they have great service so hopefully mine gets replaced.

Thanks

Luckily, all the motherboards i purchased were all good.

Don't worry, if it's not your fault they'll surely replace it, make sure to have something to prove that you bought it and not stole it in a store! xD

I purchased a MSI Z97I AC from ebay for a build I am working on.  When I got it then Pins in the PCIE slot were jacked up.   I called MSI and they requested pictures.   I sent them while still on the phone and by the end of the call I had the RMA set up.   Shipped it off and had a new board about a week and a half later.

I think they may charge for bent CPU pins but if I remember correctly it is only $35-$45 assuming it is your fault.

Tell my tale to those who ask. Tell it truly; the ill deeds along with the good, and let me be judged accordingly.

Wow that's good service! This is good to know, worst case scenario of paying $40 sounds good to me

Thanks for the re-assurance guys
