Just went onto msi.com to see there were any new drivers and I found a couple for example, intel chipset, killer network, asmedia usb, etc. After updating all of that and rebooting my computer I found out that my internet is not working. I plugged the ethernet cable into my laptop and there was internet access. So it can't be the cable, it must be the new driver. I tried looking for a killer driver for win 8.1, but msi has deleted that and uploaded win 10 driver instead.

Please help, thanks.

My mobo is MSI Z97 Gaming 7.

you didn't look very well

also if I were you I would trick windows into installing the basic atheros driver instead of the killer driver

the killer driver is kinda crappy

I followed the setup on techpower to install the atheros driver, and I dont have internet. So I also downloaded the killer driver for win 8.1 and again no internet. I am guessing at this point I will have to reinstall a new copy of windows?

On the left is in the "Win 8.1" tab and the right is in the "Win 10" tab.
