Hello, This is my first gaming custom build and i want to know if the parts i picked were good

link  to parts: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/Wh93Jx

Thank you :V

Welcome to the Forum.

1) Please don't EVER go with FX series chips for gaming, at least until they release Zen. Get a locked i5 with a cheaper board, or even an i3 would do far better in almost any game.

2) Please don't EVER again go with the V300, they nerfed it and it's absolutely terrible. Go with an 850 Evo or something.

3) You'll want to go with a stronger graphics card. You might want to go down to 8GB of RAM for this.

4) If you're not planning on SLI/CF that PSU is kinda overkill. You can go to a good 500w.

Sig under construction.

Buy a Win8.1 key from reddit or g2a. You can get it for like 20 bucks. I would only go with 8gb for now. You can always upgrade.

this is a start build im planing on upgrading my gpu and cup and motherboard. this is entry level. i have a job and will be able to upgrade within a few months

For a grand I could make a gaming rig that would play games at 1080p 60fps on high-ultra settings, and would do amazing gameing for over 3 years without a upgrade.

I saw an FX 6300 and a 750 Ti for about 700 bucks (taking off 300 bucks for monitors). Where's the bleach, I need some for my eyes!
