autocad/pro-e/.. cpu usage

quick question- will i rather benefit from multicores in cad software, or are these programs only benefiting from jiggahertz?for e.g. i plan to use a g3258 3,2ghz versus an i7 4790s 3,2ghz, because !cost! and a little less power. gpu most likely k620 or 420+ 16gb of ddr3 ram. please help about the cpu

btw. this is supposed to be a beginner system for next semsters cad class!;)
