My First Gaming PC Build

Hello, I'm trying to build my first gaming PC next weekend. Now I have a price range from $1200-$1300 (Not including Windows or a monitor). With this PC, I want a i5 4690k, and a EVGA GTX 980 SC ACX 2.0. I want the mother board to be good enough so I can upgrade to a i7 in the future. And a power supply good enough so I can SLI two 980s in the future as well. I would like to have a SSD in the build (128GB). I'm wondering if anyone can give me any ideas. (NewEgg Only) Thanks

Any mobo that supports a 4790k will support ANY OTHER socket 1150 CPU. That being said, 1150 is end of life now, and no i7 will be a worthy upgrade for that socket from that i5.

As far as choices are, I would recommend any Z97 board. I personally really like the Asus boards, but to each their own.

For PSU, I would recommend anything over 750 watts for 2 of those. And by anything, I mean anything from a good company with a good rating (evga, corsair, etc)

if you only buy from newegg, you are missing out on great deals. if i were you, i'd get everything from ncix us and price match each component. newegg doesn't have price matching. you should consider skylake as well.
