hello im using an old dell optiplex 3010 that has an dell 042p49 motherboard and im trying to do some upgrades i bought a nice gpu and now i need more ram im thinking about this http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00BD7QKT4/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER   but im not sure if it will work on my mobo i know its 1333mhz but what im not sure about is the density can some one pls tell me if this rams density is compatible with my motherboard ?

can i ask what gpu? 133mhz is a bit obsolete but hey ho if thats what your board takes.

I've got no clue what you mean by "the density stuff", but the RAM is DDR3, the board supports DDR3, therefore it should be compatible.

The speed won't matter, you could stick like 2133mhz ram in there and it'd just downclock to whatever speed the mobo can use.

im not saying you cant i mean people dont buy 1333mhz much anymore, but if thats all his board supports hes stuck with it.
