my situation:

win7 on a HDD with 2 partitions

my plan:

upgrading to win10 and a SSD at the same time while keeping the two partitions. (1 on each drive)

should i first upgrade to win10 and then move it to the SSD or first move win7 and then upgrade.

i wanted to fresh install win10 and use my win7 key but then i read that this doesnt work.

im confused on what to do and i dont want to mess up anything :S

Reinstalling windows on an SSD is way faster than cloning from HDD to SSD but whatever floats your boat. Regarding the end result, I don't think it matters. If you pick the save nothing option during the upgrade, it's a clean install anyway.

Edit: forgot to mention that you don't have to install drivers or updates or anything like that in the reinstalled windows, just activate it before you start the upgrade.
