Hi guys, this is my first post here and I really like what I saw on this forum so far, keep up the good work!

Just wanted to know your opinion on my build, especially because I'm not sure if all the parts work fine together. I'm open for any tipps to improve my build.
Can I boot from the Samsung SM951 AHCI and this mainboard? If yes is it worth it (in your opinion)?

I already have a Gigabyte Windforce GTX-780 Ti OC and a few HDD's, so don't worry about that ;)

I appreciate every answer, thanks for your time!

I’ll post all the updates on the parts and the finished build in a log later  :D

EDIT: I'm going to play and work(rendering) with it...

what do you want to do with the pc?

LGA 2011 socket is complete overkill for gaming. Go with the i7 4790k it has equal or better perfomance than the 5820k for gaming and its amazing. And you save on your ram and motherboard.

EDIT: Only go with the lga 2011 if you do high rendering and cpu intensive tasks

I already have a decent pc, I just wanted to upgrade to x99, ddr4 and a hexacore so I can upgrade it with a new gpu later...

ASUS P8Z77-V LX (LGA 1155, Intel Z77, ATX)
Samsung 840 EVO Basic (120GB, 2.5")
Gigabyte Windforce GTX-780 Ti OC
be quiet! Straight Power E9 CM (680W)
AeroCool XPredator Evil Black Edition (Big Tower)

a 3770 would be able to handle a VERY high end GPU. No need to worry at all.
