Looking for a headset.

I am looking for a headset, but preferably not with the usual gaming sound signature. I want good audio for everything, from podcasts to music to gaming to movies, no overpowering bass nor piercing highs. Also, the mic quality is a factor and I hate bad mic quality. I used to use the now discontinued Tritton AX720s and loved them but their build quality was terrible. Any suggestions?

If you have lots of money, Sennheiser G4ME ONE/ZERO (open backed or not), cheaper but still v.good option, HyperX Cloud 2. Make sure to get 2, better sound card=better mic quality.

Hyperx Cloud 1 didnt have a soundcard at all m8. But i feel they sacrificed build quality in that one for the 7.1 garbage.

Sennheiser PC363D have a great mic and coming from a audiophile company like Sennheiser it will sound great.

Audio Technica ATH-AG1 are also a good headset from a audiophile company.

 

But if you are on a lower budget i would suggest the Hyperx Cloud (1 or 2 doesn't matter that much).

It uses beyerdynamic tech so it doesn't have the usual gaming signature, its actually pretty good.
