Ghosting a drive

So I'm going to need to ghost a new laptops hard drive onto a SSD so I can use the SSD instead of the HDD without having to reinstall everything. What programs do you guys recommend for this?

but you'll need to manually shrink the source partition down to size beforehand, as it can't do that. I use gParted to do that

Oh okay cool, I didn't realize you could use gParted on Windows. Thanks for the help!

Desktop: i9 11900k, 32GB DDR4, 4060 Ti 8GB 🙂

Oh okay cool, I didn't realize you could use gParted on Windows. Thanks for the help!

well you can't use it IN windows, but you can boot to it from a usb or livecd, works just the same
