Quick question about my GPU

I just recently purchased a XFX r9 390x 8 GB... All of a sudden it has been getting really hot while on idle... I have 7 case fans installed with decent airflow and my PSU is a 1300 watt. I still do not know what the problem is. I even turned down the OC and still nothing, the top plate gets really hot to the touch.. Any ideas?!

Double check your airflow to make sure it's running cool

 

Otherwise maybe go AIO liquid cooling for your GPU
