That's funny, I actually just bought one today.

Fantastic little thing for $100. Snappy and it's not bad in the hand either (soft touch plastic is what I like.) If you're looking to buy one and install a different OS on it through the BIOS, you will have to use the EFI shell and boot into your OS of choice from there, but it's not too hard and 5 minutes of Googling should help you. The screen is pretty bright and has good viewing angles and decent colors, typical of an IPS panel. Speakers are a bit crud, but they're rear facing and the device itself is $100, so what's to expect? All in all, I'm happy that I bought it, and I got 20% off since my local Micro Center had a coupon. Battery life is fair. It's not iPad good but it's better than most laptops.

Main Rig: CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 5800X | RAM: 32GB (2x16GB) KLEVV CRAS XR RGB DDR4-3600 | Motherboard: Gigabyte B550I AORUS PRO AX | Storage: 512GB SKHynix PC401, 1TB Samsung 970 EVO Plus, 2x Micron 1100 256GB SATA SSDs | GPU: EVGA RTX 3080 FTW3 Ultra 10GB | Cooling: ThermalTake Floe 280mm w/ be quiet! Pure Wings 3 | Case: Sliger SM580 (Black) | PSU: Lian Li SP 850W

Server: CPU: AMD Ryzen 3 3100 | RAM: 32GB (2x16GB) Crucial DDR4 Pro | Motherboard: ASUS PRIME B550-PLUS AC-HES | Storage: 128GB Samsung PM961, 4TB Seagate IronWolf | GPU: AMD FirePro WX 3100 | Cooling: EK-AIO Elite 360 D-RGB | Case: Corsair 5000D Airflow (White) | PSU: Seasonic Focus GM-850

Are you saying you have to go through that every time you boot?

What else have you installed on it?

No, you don't have to go to the BIOS everytime you boot. If you want to install a different OS, you will have to use the EFI shell on the device as opposed to popping in a USB flash drive and going (though this may just be my flash drive's issue.)

No problem. Other than the poop cameras, you'll like it :P

Gotcha.

I wonder if it'd be easy to get the touch screen working appropriately in other OSs.

I'm going to try Android tomorrow, so I'll let you know about that. Maybe I'll try Ubuntu as well. As for WIndows, drivers are all available (though if you do get one I implore you to backup the driver file.) Drivers are not easy to find for it at all. I've backed up mine so I will put them on Dropbox or something in case anyone needs.

@EposVox @kevinisbeast707 I actually figured out how to select a boot device during startup. Just have a keyboard plugged in and mash F12 until the boot menu comes up.

so can you dual boot?

I haven't tried dual booting as of yet, but considering it works like a normal computer you should be fine with doing it.

I was thinking about doing it as Android and maybe Ubuntu or a similar build.
