Im trying to rollback my brothers laptop from windows 10 to 8.1 (which was the original os). I keep getting bsods on his computer when booting up to windows and can only get into windows when in safe mode. If I do the rollback while in safe mode in windows 10. Will it downgrade without anything bad happening? Thanks for the help!!!!

why are you doing this?

1. why do the iso method? There is a rollback option built into windows 10 to go back to previous version of windows if upgraded to 10. Im just asking if I can do it while in safe mode.

2. Because after I was done upgrading his computer to 10. It started getting driver bsods after rebooting.

its a laptop. why?

cause I doubt any crashes are from only win 10

its pretty stable

you probably need to do a clean install

and get the newest beta drivers
