Updates stuck

I'm trying to update my just installed Windows 8.1 Pro, but it stays stuck at 0%. Any help?

What's your DL speed, ow long have you been waiting?

Just leave it for a while, it sometimes does it in the background without updating the screen. Did it to me the other day before I upgraded to Windows 10 on my laptop. If nothing changes within a couple of hours, then yeah something's probably not right.

I've been waiting for about an hour, and a 25 Mbps download speed should be enough. I have already rebooted my pc.

When you rebooted did it come up saying Updates are configuring or something like that before shutting off? If so then that means it's downloading and installing updates, just being a pain in the arse about it.

Until it throws a error code, its doing exactly what it needs to do.

No updates were installed when I rebooted my system. But I did it again to see what would happened and the amount has increased from 4 to 139 updates. So something must've happened.
