What is the recomended save voltage for 4790k 4.6ghz

Ram 2400 mhz

Cpu cooler 212 evo

1.265-1.270 or 1.3

under 1.35-1.375v and 85C on load with synthetic benchmarks.

I get 4.7GHz @ 1.20v with an offset of 0.005v. So I'm probably in the 1.17-1.18v for 4.6, but that's also my Vietnam Chip. :D

Until 1.45v it's perfectly safe, but you need a good cooling solution.

Until 1.45v it's perfectly safe, but you need a good cooling solution.

Anything over 1.35 I think would degrade quickly...

Up to 1.3V it's pretty safe as long as temps are under 85C, if your on big air or watercooling you can go around 1.3-1.4V where degradation isn't really a big issue, by the time it degrades the CPU will be obsolete.

You can ask someone like Prokon, until 1.45v is safe.

1.19V @ 4.6Ghz. More stable than a horses house. I've gone as high as 1.3v for brief overclocks under water
