If you have the money, go for the Ti.  Being newer and having higher stats, it will last you longer.

 

I absolutely love the Zotac 980 Ti Amp Extreme I got; heck it out preforms the Titan for $700

Hi I'm new here and I have a question. I'm building a gaming PC and I do not know whether to get a 980 or a 980 ti. I have a 1080p 60hz monitor and I want to get a video card that will last for at least 5 years of gaming at 60fps or more. I don't want a 970, but I don't know whether to buy a 980 or a 980 ti. The latter is only about $140 more and give a much higher performance. I'm not sure which one to get. Please help

I just built a rig capable of running Crysis 3 at ultra at least 60 FPS, all to continue playing League of Legends...
