I keep getting this error about 5 minutes into playing a game. It will tab me out for around 5-10 seconds and then let me continue playing but it is still very annoying. - post-45316-0-84473500-1438451525.jpg

I have reinstalled drivers. I have rolled back my drivers. Re situated my graphics card and cables. Tested with my overclock on and off. NOTHING HELPS!!! Please give me suggestions.

Have you not updated to the latest? It's at 353.xx now.

And don't install the extra's unless you need them (3DVision, HDAudio etc). And use clean installation.

Driver version 310.54?

Its a google image just to show as an example. It wouldn't let me gyazo it since the PC would freeze up and then it would disappear. Anyways I did do the clean install and also unchecked the things I didnt need.

Look for errors in Event Viewer, see if they say what's specifically causing the driver crash.

Hmm, It's a long shot but:

  1. Set the PC Power Options to Maximum Performance *if it's not already been done so*
  2. Go into Advanced Power Options, go down to PCI Express and make sure Link State Power Management is set to off.
  3. Go into Nvidia Control Panel>Manage 3D Settings and set Power management mode to prefer maximum performance.

Could it be due to my MSI afterburner not being fully updated and so it is keeping the overclock unstable?
