I don't know if anyone else is having this issue, but when I open the Nvida Control Panel, I usually am able to click on the Desktop menu and select to have my windows only open in full screen mode on one display, as well as my task bar to only show on one display when in surround mode, This option is no longer there after upgrading to Windows 10.

In addition to this, when I right click on the desktop I am unable to open the control panel from there, I have to manually open it from the Cortana search thingy.

If anyone has any solutions to this please let me know.

Thanks,

James

This actually happens on windows 8 as well. For instance, if you have in improper shut down, the drivers seem to get buggy with multiple monitors. Just reinstall, it fixes it for me. This is on Nvidia's side, not microsoft's.

Nvidia Control Panel hasn't opened for me once since I got my drivers working. Not really sure why though. The drivers seem to be working properly but attempting to launch the control panel does nothing. Not even a process as far as I can tell.

reinstall driver?

windows update in windows 10 conflicts with geforce experience sometimes

so sometimes the gpu driver will crash

restarting usually fixes that for a while

Yeah thanks guys! I just needed to reinstall the drivers! I think what happened was I installed the Windows 10 Nvidia driver whilst I was still in windows 8.1. So I uninstalled the Windows 10 Nvidia Driver and reinstalled it in windows 10, all is working now. Maybe try that momona5 :)
