Just did a fresh install.

Okay so I just did a fresh install off a USB stick and tried backing up off my external HDD. Problem is, that it is not working right at all. The drivers for even the Lan port on my motherboard aren't showing up. I can't even find the driver disc MSI gave me. I can't do anything. It's a dead computer.

Are you able to create a Windows 7/8.1 ISO?

I was able to upgrade ghettoly on my desktop by doing this

It's the motherboard drivers. The Internet won't work so I can't get anything downloaded. Some of the files I had didn't even download. All my apps, everything. Just gone. Now I need to redownload everything but I can't do that without the drivers for the Lan port!

What mobo specifically? I'm guessing it has a killer nic on it?

Yup. It's an MSI Z97 Gaming 7.

Looks like the lan drivers are there unless you cant seem to download it is the issue?

I can't download it because I can't access the Internet. .-. It needs the drivers to work and I don't have the driver disc.

Are you able to get it on a flashdrive from another computer? that's the only solution I can give.. or download it your phone if you have andriod etc. lol I'm guessing your reply on a phone?/

Copying my steam games to a folder so I don't need to redownload them. Hahaha. Problem is I need to do it in a way where the games are stored on my hardrive. Drive D. So I made a new folder that steam accepts and I'm transferring the steam apps folder I backed up to the new steam apps folder. This didn't work before but I'm trying again.
