Windows 10 Upgrade

Go to solution Solved by Fate,

Should be fine if you only back up your SSD, but if you aren't planning a fresh installation of W10, then it saves all of your files anyways like the upgrade from W8 --> W8.1 did. Just to be safe though I'd backup important files off the SSD because there's always a possibility of something going wrong.

Hi.

I am considering upgrading to Windows 10. I'm gonna wait for a good DirectX 12 game to come out first.

I currently have Windows 8.1 installed on my SSD.

My question is, should I back up HDD (which I have all my games on) or is it okay if I only back up my SSD?
