Capture Device

I'm just wondering what would be the best capture card device for recording gameplay and stuff and streaming from I know allot of people use external ones and I'm wondering about internal because internet PCI-E ones can do uncompressed I imagine? If so what is the best one to get.

Avermedia live gamer HD seems to be highly rated Linus also made a video about it for NCIX

I'd prefer having uncompressed because I'll be editing but I shall look into this solution a little more.
