Hi everyone, I hope I'm posting this in the correct section but if I'm not I apologize. So last night I overclocked both of my GTX 780's and have them synced together to run the same clock speed and memory speed in SLI. Well last night I got my core clock to about +130 and my memory to about +300 and my benchmarks ran great, no artifacts or anything and The Witcher 3 played fine on it last night. Well this morning I went to go play Witcher 3 again with the same exact overclock settings, and my game kept freezing, or the NVIDIA drivers would crash. I had to keep lowering my settings until it was stable again and I ended up having to put the core clock down to +90 and the memory to 0! Can anyone tell me why this may have happened? I don't get why one day it was working, then the next day it just wasn't having it. Thanks in advance for anyone who replies! :)

~Reanna

Could be the VRM(sorry, not Vram, but VRM) that gets too hot. Bet they are not cooled by the cooler.

BTW, aftermarked aircooled cards is not meant to be overclocked any further without watercooling.

I'm not sure, but just be sure to always follow your topics

yeah i always forget, i just followed it though. it works with all my other games like skyrim, and all that. could it be that witcher 3 is too strong for my cards?
