Pretty sure only for the tech preview stuff.

I do belive so. If my memory serves me correct when i set up windows 10 there was an option to send that info to microsoft for an "improved experience".

Current PC: Chimera, Because AMD and Nvidia belong together

IIRC it's to improve Cortana :P
