So I have my heart set on the s340 case from NZXT but watching reviews I have heard that the window is of poor quality, thin, and scratches easy?

Can any one confirm or deny this?

Is it possible to replace the window with a thicker, better quality and possibly "smoked" plexi?

How is the window attached? (Can someone pleaseeeeeee provide a pic of the window panels inside?)

wat? there's nothing wrong on my s340 window

I seen a review where some guy scratched it with his fingernails.. Then tried buffing it off to no avail.. (Thus why I'm asking around) either way I wouldn't mind getting smoked plexi, or tinting the existing window..

I would recommend glass if your really want to replace it but this is how it's attached, there are small metal tabs the are bent through holes on the window edge to hold it in place:

Here's a side panel window.  The window is held in by tabs around the window.  You just need to bend them and replace the window.

You want to be careful where you place the panel when you remove it from the case, but with normal handling I never had a scratching issue.

Replacing the window with tempered glass would be a nice improvement.

Thanks guys for the input! Tempered would be so dope, only trouble would be attaching it, I would have to use window sealer or something.. Also getting it to sit flush with the outside of the case would be a problem.. With plexi I could do all this with a dremmel... Shitty thing is I have panels of glass sitting in my garage.. But no way to router the edges or drill holes for the tabs .

I would recommend to cut off the metal tabs and silicone the new panel in place it would give a perfectly flush mount and no gap. If you have glass on hand using a glass cutter would be the best.

I do have glass no cutter tho :( and also its random salvaged glass so not sure weather it's tempered or not.. Might have an old glass top desk around somewhere.. I know that's tempered but not sure if the mom will let me has it or not haha

If it's tempered don't cut it it will explode if you do, tempered panes of specific sizes need to be ordered so they can cut it before tempering them temper it in the oven. Personally I think regular window glass is good to use I personally did it on mine but just becareful when handling it so you don't' drop or hit it against something.
