I'm planning on getting the Otterbox Defender with my LG G4. Which back would it be better to go with?

It should, as the back shouldn't add too much thickness.

also, please use automatic text as some people use night theme.

I've never heard of automatic text before. What is it?

You just used it lol it's where you see the A and then a few colors. It's set to automatic by default, but if you click on it you can change colors of the text. It typically comes out Black by default if you copy and paste from another website, which then makes it hard for night theme users like myself to read  :P
