Make the build cheaper

Go to solution Solved by jimakos234,

Yes I agree therefore I have something in mind that would make things easier for me I guess.

Basically what I'm going to do is give my computer away, and attempt to build a $500.00 computer for gaming usages and school. Is there any chance you guys know what I could put together to make this happen? I play F2P games like League of Legends & Path of Exile really.

if you play only league and this kind of games i would suggest you this build (the cpu cooler is optional, just in case you want to overclock. take it or leave it):

http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/p/kDcLNG

If you want it to last longer, u can replace anytime the pentium with a locked i5 or an i3

1. Budget & Location

$700.00 but cheaper the better. Canada

2. Aim

To run Mastercam X6 or X7

Here's the link for the requirements for it.

https://www.mastercam.com/en-us/Support/System-Requirements

3. Monitors

Not needed

4. Peripherals

Not needed & OS is not needed

5. Why are you upgrading?

My old computer is now dying. Doesn't turn on properly. Crashes while running most thing and too weak.

The build I complied was this but I don't know exactly what to do to make the cost lower.

They should be fine, nothing can be guaranteed to last, ive seen generic PSUs/boards in budget pre-builds last 10 years, and high end units blow, so it just one of those things

They are reputable brands and should be fine as long as they are not pushed to extremes

If you want better brands you have to pay more,... something has to give when you go down in price, you either lose performance, or you lose build quality (or both) , you cannot have your cake and eat it

Thanks, I appreciate the partlist though with the sudden change of idea. I think this is a bit more overkill than needed for gaming, got any advice?

They should be fine, nothing can be guaranteed to last, ive seen generic PSUs/boards in budget pre-builds last 10 years, and high end units blow, so it just one of those things

Yeah I agree, I've just haven't been able to work with those brands before that I'd like to hear your guys review on it

the cheaper you go the shittier itll get. just save up
