Enough Power for Build?

Go to solution Solved by MrSuperb,

A System (total) with one GTX600 will draw about 250-300Watt under load from the wall !!!

The 450Watt spec is NOT from the wall, but on the DC side.

250-300Watt from the wall equal 225-270W (PSU @ 90% efficency)

thats about 180-225 Watt excess capacity.

Still a 450-550Watt PSU is a good choice for such a system, as most PSU are most efficent at about 50% load.

CPU: AMD 3600 GPU: ASUS DUAL OC RX 6750 XT MOBO: Asus Prime X570-P RAM: 16GB XPG Gammix D10 3000Mhz

PSU: Gamdias Kratos P1 650w 80+ Gold OS:Windows 10 pro Case: 4U Rackmount  HDD/SSD:Seagate 8 TB/ Patriot Scorch m.2 512GB

A 450 watt should be fine:)

Life is pain. Anyone who says any different is either selling something or the government.

it is just enough, your max power consumption is about 400w

wahaha ... bullshit

A GTX Titan + 3970X oced doesn't only seldom draw 400W from the wall(!)

So I guess that means its enough.

Yes, enoug power, but the PSU isn't really a high quality one

Which one would you recommend for a build like this?

CPU: AMD 3600 GPU: ASUS DUAL OC RX 6750 XT MOBO: Asus Prime X570-P RAM: 16GB XPG Gammix D10 3000Mhz
