I've come to find some deals around the web that are exclusive or only offered in EU for now. I do have a concern and needed anybody's input as how to claim a refund on VAT added purchases if I ship the item outside the EU. Anybody care to share how they claimed theirs? Thanks

i dont think there are any export taxes, only import taxes.

if you order from US , and you live in EU , you have to pay additional 20% or something like that, or else they take it

Odd. I tried to purchase something off Overclockers.co.uk just to test and it'll show up on cart with VAT included. I asked customer support and he mentioned I had to claim it myself. WTF?

Update:

Another CS agent changed their statement. You are now excluded from VAT if you register an address outside the EU which should had been in the first place.

Thanks all!

Different countries have different refund policies. In the UK you can contact HMRC and see if you're eligible for a tax rebate.
