A nice amount. The r9 270x isn't exactly the best eather. What's your budget for upgrading?

idk its my birthday soon and i have about £250 possibly more but i was thinking about monitor upgrades

http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/MKfpmG If you don't wanna overclock I could find a bit cheaper of a solution. What's your other specs? Mostly ram and what's the PSU? If you don't know could you find out a brand and model number?

Hmm does it have a brand on it? FSP, EVGA, Fractal Design, Antec, XFX, SeaSonic? Just to name a few :) On the corsair one does it same like CX500 or CX500M or what on it?

Alright with two PSUs you are fine. Just hook the GPU up to the corsair one and the rest of to the EVGA one. A nice cou upgrade will benefit you then a nice upgrade to an r9 380 or r9 390 would be good.

would this be a good CPU to get APU A10-6800K

I wouldn't upgrade to any AMD CPU. I'd get a 4690k and a cheap z97 motherboard. If you don't wanna overclock a i5-4590 and a cheap h97 board would be good.

PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant

CPU: Intel Core i5-4590 3.3GHz Quad-Core Processor (£154.92 @ Aria PC)

Motherboard: MSI H97 PC MATE ATX LGA1150 Motherboard (£61.16 @ Scan.co.uk)

Total: £216.08

Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available

If you wanna overclock I'll,put together some parts for that to :) overclocking would be at the top,of,your budget.

Ok wait and come back after Christmas. Save your money and don't buy anything for now then you could get a new CPU, GPU, and mobo. As for the monitor any 1080p IPS 23inch or bigger monitor, would work
