Quick question about RAID

Go to solution Solved by Oshino Shinobu,

So even if I enable RAID in my MSI Mobos BIOS, my SSD will still work fine? Awesome!

How do I set up RAID for only the 2 x 1TBs then?

When you set the SATA mode to RAID, you can then go into the RAID setup (normally Ctrl + I during boot, you may have to check your board's manual) and select the drives you want in the array, and the type of RAID. Bear in mind that any data on the drives you're putting into the array will be wiped.

Can I have a RAID array of two 1TB HDDs while having a 60GB SSD with the OS on it?

Or does enabling RAID in BIOS make all drives for RAID?

Yes, you can do that. I have an SSD RAID array in my system, as well as an SSD on its own and it works fine.

Set the controller to RAID, assign the task you want for both of your 1tb hard drives, don't touch the SSD and go. It will be fine
