Guys quick help needed. I need help with buying a case,

Here are my PC specs:

MSI GTX 980 GAMING 4G

Corsair CX 600M Power Supply

ASUS Z97-A Mobo

Two - 1TB Hard Drives

Intel Core i7 4790S

Will any cheap case with two fans be sufficient, or should i look at something more specific? Thanks.

If it was water cooling then I would say H440 all of the way cause I love NZXT (NZXT fan boy sorry :P )!!! Maybe a NZXT phantom 530??

But more likely a Corsair Air 540 they are great airflow cases!

You wouldve noticed, ive already shelled out quite a bit on the rig :P So i just need something that will not cause the slightest of issues.

I did indeed notice and that kind of rig would be a dream one for me  ;)  :) My reccomendation would be Cooler Master for good airflow as mentioned above. You could get a cheap case but the quality will be worse that more expensive ones. Corsair Cooler Master Fractal Design Silver Stone are the brands to look at.

NZXT S340, you can find it for 50-60 bucks, are you using the stock cooler? (Heatsink clearence can be an issue)

This is a more personal thing, but i've found that cheaping out on the case can be a nightmare, no cable management, no support for rads or big cooler, horrible fans you end up replacing, bad build quality (i got a piece of shit sentey case and i ripped that fucker up, all cheap plastic, it broke by looking at it)

The NZXT source 210 seems pretty good for a budget case, i would check some reviews tho

Cooler Master N400 seems decent too.

Brands apart, could you guys suggest any specific cases with an average price range that would be more than enough?

the ones i mentioned are 40-60 bucks, i think that's about as low as you can go without compromising things like cable management, overall clearence and airflow

Let me get to my exact situation, my computer guy feels it would take a Corsair 600T gaming case to sufficiently cool the rig. Im thinking, its too much , but he says you might end up with a thermal bottleneck otherwise. Any expert thoughts? Thanks

You won't get a thermal bottleneck unless you're running the hardware in a box with no fans, (usually) but you'd be fine with an NZXT S340 or a Fractal Design Define S. You don't need a 600T, that case is very overpriced and is getting old. Seriously though, the Define S is a great case and I highly suggest you give it a look. Let me know if you need any more help man! Parts look good :)
