Hey VideoRusher,

A single SSD should still be faster than a couple of WD Red drives in RAID0. I wouldn't use WD Black drives in a RAID array since they don't have the necessary features to make them safe and stable in a RAID environments.
As the guys suggested, you can use the WD Red drives for rendering since SSD have limited amount of write cycles.
My suggestion would be to keep your programs on a SSD and use the HDDs for the rendering process. :)

Captain_WD.

Never raid hard drives in raid 0 unless you want to lose data.

im asking this that most of the websites says use ssd for rendering

some of them are saying use 2 drives in raid 0

which one should i get??

Get something consistent and reliable for raid, intel 730's are a common recommendation.

most sites WD reds are mostly recommended for raid arrays and NaS ...

is 730 is more reliable than wd red in raid 0 array??

WD doesn't make SSDs. I thought that you wanted a SSD, if not get two red drives but they won't be as fast.
