Hi I have a gigabyte hd 7950 http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=4121#ov

and I have a benq 24''monitor and it works fine when I have it connected trough the dvi port on my hd 7950 but when I switch to the hdmi port I says hdmi no signal

I thought it was the display's problem but when I used a dvi to hdmi adptor to see to connect the monitor through its dvi port it didnt work. It only worked on the graphics card dvi port.

The reason I want to connect it through hdmi is because I have a second monitor I connect through dvi

It doesnt have two dvi ports

It should. It should also have a Display Port, which I recommend using for multi-monitor.

Yes it has two display ports but I dont have the conveter displayport to Hdmi since my monitor doesnt have dp

Generally speaking, display port is recommended when using multi-monitor. Have you checked the settings in the OS? Does it recognize both screens?
