No. Give it a few more months and it will be entirely free. Not worth giving them money for the fail that it was.

So it really is a big fail. Why? Saw the video just now...

It's good IMO,and a lot of these reviews are from when it first released. Through several big updates and smaller patches, they have expanded the playable area and made combat better in PVP and PVE.

Have you played it at all or are you judging it based on others opinions?

I'm judging based on what I've seen about the game and by the reactions of people who've played it.

Eh, steam ratings are the same as metacritic. They have lot's of numbers that mean absolutley nothing. I see reviews like 10/10 (positive) Uninstall works.

I'm judging based on what I've seen about the game and by the reactions of people who've played it.

Those reviews were all before the game got rid of the monthly fee. And also before a huge patch which overhauled almost every single aspect of the game. If you read any reviews of a recent version they're all positive.

I'm thinking of buying it now that there's no paying a fortune every month. But I've read many articles saying that it is very bad. I'm a big fan of TES and would like another adventure through Tamriel. Maybe some advice from someone who played it?

No. Give it a few more months and it will be entirely free. Not worth giving them money for the fail that it was.

I just picked it up on the GMG sale for like $12. I heard bad reviews too and that's why I stayed away from it until now even though I'm an elder scrolls fan. It's actually turning out to be a pretty good experience.

No, god, no.

Imagine your favourite movie, but it's sequel being directed by the producer of the previous director and not the director himself.

That's basically what Zenimax did.

not sure how many people play but it's enough to make it feel like a healthy community. And also there is all sorts of trading, including a cool market system.
