Pc restarts every night

So my pc has been restarting every night. Going into event viewer shows nothing as I don't know when it is restarting. Power supply was bought a month and a half ago model in signature. All other parts bought about 4 years ago I know it is restarting because it wakes me up every night with the windows startup sound. I think it happens a couple of times also all of my programs are no longer open

check your psu connections make sure they're connected properly

Ar you sure it's not a program such as windows update, disk defragmenter or other updater?

Crucial m4 256gb

2x 4g Kingston hyperx fury black ( also bought about 6 months ago)

Temps should be fine but not sure as it's in the middle of the night when I am sleeping

Not windows update. Disk defrag is disabled (ssd) no other updates. .. virus? Hopefully not as malwarebytes shows nothing

Do you have a third party program running? BTY try another antivirus program. It's not any faulty software, but it may be a beta program trying to update daily, or back to windows, a corrupted update trying to reinstall.

Edit: I meant hardware.

What do you mean 3rd party program? Aren't all programs not from Microsoft 3rd party?

Unfortunately I cannot find out what time it is happening as it is at night

Check for the following programs on.

 

Software Update > Reboot after update

Antivirus Scan > Start even PC is off / Reboot after scan

What do you mean 3rd party program? Aren't all programs not from Microsoft 3rd party?

Any beta programs will install software during the night, including programs like google canary, although that foes not require a restart. What's not likely is that a program that you uninstalled went into the task scheduler in windows and modified it to restart every day. Check up on that, and then review the problem.

Didn't know there was a thing as task scheduler will check up on that in a sec

So just woke up the computer and it hasn't restarted last night... weird. Also looking at task scheduler adobe aam triggers at 2:00 am every day. Could that be it?

You seem to have a lot of programs running schedules at once. Disable the one closest to ten minutes before you hear the sound, and go into Ms config and figure out if anything unusual is running on startup.

Ok so going to have my clock read for when the computer starts up tonight to see which programs I need to delete

Isn't the problem obvious??  Clearly your house is haunted.  Please list the specs of previous occupants who lived there.  And "specs" is short for Spectrals.
