Trying to remember a game

Hi guys, so I am trying to remember the name of an old pc game I used to play with my cousin.

 

It was a top view game.

You could play together on the same pc using different parts of the keyboard, on the same screen.

You would verse each other, you basically had to blow up the other person using traps, bombs, guns, fire, etc... and there would be other hostile NPC's walking around.

it probably came out between 1998 and 2002.

 

It was a really fun game and I hope you guys can help me remember it.

Thanks but I don't think it was Bomberman, it was much less "cartoony" than bomber man
