Linux help

Go to solution Solved by Hikaru12,

Found the answer here: https://pathar.tl/blog/the-ultimate-automated-ripping-machine/

Seems to be in the way of autohandling CD's by including a .desktop file (tricking Linux into believing it will play a CD or DVD).

So I had this idea today for building a Linux box. Basically, what I'm trying to do is reuse some parts around the house like some RAM and a bluray burner I have. My thought process is I want to build a box that has the Bluray Burner on top and an internal (or hotswappable HDD, doesn't really matter). When I put in a CD, I want to create a script that launches Exact Audio Copy and rips the CD to FLAC. I then want it to be stored on an shared folder. In contrast, if I put in a DVD or Bluray I want it to rip with MakeMKV and store it in the shared folder.

Is there any way I can do that in Linux? In Windows, I'd probably write a Macro but not sure how I would accomplish this in Linux.

Ask for clarification if needed! Thanks.
