Can't Get 360 Controller Working

I have an old Power A controller that I used to use on my laptop. I recently plugged it into my new pc, and it said that no drivers were found for it. The led lit up and stuff, and now when I plug it back in it just says not recognized and the controller doesn't even light up. I went over to windows and installed the xbox 360 controller driver set and that did nothing. I can't get this thing to work.

Try using the application JoyToKey to see if the computer actually sees it as a controller

I did that, it sees nothing. And it's acting now like it has no power or anything.

Windows disabled it.

are you sure it's an xbox controller and not a dualshock controller?

 

dualshock uses DirectInput while xbox uses the more common Xinput

 

most PC ports only work with Xinput

It's some old Power A xbox 360 controller I don't think it would be dualshock...

Well it was working fine, I plugged it in originally and it recognized it.

I mean, I can get my xbox one controller to work with my pc, I just don't know if tdu2 will use it.
