Can't install GPU

Go to solution Solved by lx_srs,

So I just bought a 980 classified from b stock and I tried to install it I found the cause but I don't know how to fix it http://i.imgur.com/yX9tfw5.jpg

The metal being bent is getting in the way of installing the gpu

I'd say RMA it, but if you want to risk it, grab some sturdy pliers or a vice and try to bend it back.  It's worked for me in the past, but I was probably just really lucky.

I'm thinking of unscrewing it and then using pliers it's b stock the cards come with bends and scratches I'm not sure if this counts or not

Good luck.  Honestly your best option is to RMA, but if you want to take the Linus approach, be very very careful.  That's a $500 landmine you're playing with.
