witcher 3 crashing

since update 1.07 My game keeps crashing, primarily when I'm skipping cutscenes quickly.  It doesn't freeze, it just closes entirely, making me have to go back to the last time I saved. Anyone else having this issue? Also im playing it through gog galaxy if that makes any difference.

... ignoring that comment, you should uninstall and reinstall the game, that was literally the only way to solve it for me as you can't roll back patches with GOG galaxy.

Would I need to uninstall and reinstall up to 1.07? And then would my file saves still be present? I'd hate to have to restart the game entirely since I'm nearing 30 hours in

all you save files will be present if you don't check to "remove save files". It will automatically have the 1.07 patch.

Do you happen to know if it will automatically install the "available content"  (rather than selecting them 1 by 1 afterward) when i reinstall? Because I'm doing that now
