MSI GS30

Gdourado

Currently the GS30 is the only MSI laptop that can be docked to the gaming dock.

Will MSI keep this line? And launch future models with new processors and technology that can use the gaming dock?

I am thinking about pulling the trigger on one and use a Sapphire 290X 8gb on the dock.

But I don't want to get a dead end system where I will be able to upgrade the GPU, but then in time, the rest of the system will fade to obsolete status.

Granted the GPU must be upgraded like 3 times more frequently than the CPU, ram and storage, but still...

Cheers!

Might not be a dead end...

Found this:

If I get the GS30 now, it might be a good deal with the big price drop and then in the future I might be able to upgrade the dock to a smaller second revision one.

And then, maybe even upgrade the laptop to a future one.
