Automate some process that you do every day or every other day. For example if you have a pet hamster make an automated feeder or something. Doesn't have to be Python related right?
There are plenty of DIY projects online. I was thinking of building an electric powered longboard with integrated batteries. Then I did the math and I calculated that I need 100e just for the batteries in order to get some decent range. I guess I'll have to postpone it for a while. :D

I really wanna do stuff like that, but I just massively lack the equipment and resources. I've always been shit with my hands too (not a euphemism)

Same here as far as funds go. Otherwise I would have built the board already, but the rough estimate is 200-230e, which is a bit too much for me to invest in something like that.

I've been thinking of building a case for my PC, lower part aluminum and the top part plexiglass or something similar, the top part would be just the motherboard with everything on it and the bottom half (the hidden part) would be PSU, HDDs, SSD etc.

I also got my hands on 40L of mineral oil and I'm thinking of submerging an old family PC just for the fun of it. :D

Why not browse some DIY forums? There is plenty of cheap fun to be had, you can boot your PC with NFC tags and your phone, all you would need to buy is a NFC tag.

I'm just throwing ideas at you, these are some of the ones I have and wanted to do, might be useful to you or give you some idea of what you might want to do.

Does it have to be PC & electronics related? I've been thinking about modding my car (not into a ricer). I got a stereo for it, I need to find 2 good speakers, keeping the stock front ones, might tint the windows slightly, did some small repairs on it, hooked it up to my laptop and ran diagnostics, I got a BT OBD for it and can do some basic software maintenance while on the road from my phone via the BT connection to the OBD. :D
