Help deciding on cpu

I would chose a 4690K as it allows you to overclock it further which means that in the future you can reduce cpu bottlenecks.

An AMD cpu has no place in a solely gaming build, end of.

I want to build a system with a gtx 960 and a core I5 I'm stuck between the 4590 or the 4960k I don't know if the the extra $30 would be worth it on gta v, csgo, h1z1, mine craft, and the crew. Thanks.

Depends if you plan on overclocking. What motherboard are you planning on buying with it?

I would over lock the 4690k with a aio liquid cooler my budget is around 900-950 us

Then go with the 4690k, and make sure to pick up a Z97 motherboard so you can actually overclock the chip (Z series motherboards are the only boards that can overclock the k series chips.)

id go with the 4460 + a cooler master hyper 212 evo and a h97 motherboard and place that money into the gpu, but if you must, go with the 4690k with an aio
