Hi everyone, I was wondering what would be a better option for an entry level gaming rig. An i3 4160 with an H81 motherboard or go the FM2+ route and go with an x4 860k with an A88X motherboard. I was intending on only doing light gaming like CS:GO and TF2 as well as a bit of Skyrim. Feel free on recommending any other CPU and motherboards, and one more thing R7 260X or GTX 750TI.

My budget would be around $400 and my location is New Zealand.

I think your first option would be the best, and then later slowly upgrade

Why do you think it would be a challenge? I was thinking of locally sourcing the case to avoid shipping fees.

Wait is your budget 400$ USD or NZD, also if you order from out of country your going to get nailed with customs fees.
