In the last thread people told me that I needed to change the option in game to turn vsync off, but my question was really asking, if I turn off vsync in the Nvidia control panel, close it, and open the control panel again, should my settings not be saved? I clicked "apply" for my chosen settings before closing it but it still reverts back to the old settings.

There is a bug where settings don't save

I don't remember the fix

I believe it was use driver uninstaller and do a total clean of the driver and reinstall it
