Wait so there are monitors that are not compatible with OS X? Are you asking a monitor with OSX? What are you going to plug the monitor into? Also budget? 

The one I have now won't do more than 60 hertz.  Some monitors just don't. idk. Mac is weird...

 

But no, as far as I know, all monitors will work

How to save money... Dont get Apple products.. Anyway i found some monitors. if they dont work you might as well get a pc sell the money absorbing paperweight
