Why? if you want to remove then anyway from the PC, why not clean then with a better method?

A normal vacuum cleaner is only going to get so much - about as much as you'd clean while just blowing air into the case from your mouth.

If you want to clean it (if it is just the case and fan) then get a can of compressed air and a rag, wipe out the surface dust and spray out the buildup.

So yes, it's technically okay to do so, but it won't be very effective.

Sure, but at that point, it's just better to use a rag and/or a brush.

wow that was fast thanks for the reply man you're awesome, BTW I usually clean my board, cards and all electronics with compressed air so i have to remove them so that i could clean the chassis, so i was thinking if it was possible to do so since the fans and the chassis sometimes are really a pain in the a** to clean LOL, but if you have better alternatives can you give some tips? thanks man

just get a air compressor and you will be fine! blow the dust out of the components. be sure it is a dry air compressor. no need to take everything out just grab you're tower and clean blow it out.

A brush is normally the best option ;)

a brush is like hair it makes static electricity! you need a ESD (Electro Static Discharge) Brush to do it. Never use a regular brush.

Well the thing is here in my area when i do it outside one small gust from the wind and pretty much all the dust i have cleaned will probably return with sand included LOL, well i guess I have to tackle that dust mano-a-mano again LOL it seems like my only choice is to buy some facemask and wear a jacket LOL, but anyways thanks for the replies I really appreciate it

For me easiest way is a Air compressor.

Have you none and dont want to spent the money? Take a normal stand bicycle pump with a needle for balls (Football, Basketball,...)(needed for high enough pressure)

When you have that you only need a second person because it is nearly impossible to pump and hold the needle near the dusty compnents at the same time.
